Hi my name is Asiya. When I grow up i want to be a doctor, because it saves people lives. I come to ZAMs Hope to do my homework. In summer we have summer programs that kids come to. We even had field trips in summer with the youth counselors. Thats how I feel at ZAMs Hope. - Asiya Abedi |

Hey, I am Ata. I come from India. I am 6 years old and I am going to Daniel Boone School. My teachers name is Mrs. Yousif. She is nice teacher but she gives me homework thats why I joined ZAMs Hope to help me with my homework. I am very thankful to Zehra Aunty to cooperate with myself. i wish i make progress this year. Today the commissioner visited. We all had different work to do like Khatija had to arrange the tables and chairs and sitting arrangement, bring food from Kababish, 2 pans of plain rice, 2 pans of chicken, and from Ujala 2 pans of biryani, Mysore Woodlands 1 pan of vegetarian korma, Bandoo khan 2 pans of fried rice and Khatija who is a volunteer at ZAMs Hope brought sweet dishes from home. Everyone donated something for our community. Then Rehman Sabah Khan and Aisha Kidwaei were taking care of the kids while Khatija and Mara were arranging the food, tables and chairs. It was tiring but at the same times it was fun. We arranged the thing outside but suddenly it started to rain and Khatija was so depressed and then she put all the arrangements inside. We all were doing our work. After that everything was fine and it stopped raining and every one started coming in. Ayesha Quadri introduce herself and presented her speech in front of everyone then she called Khatija up on the stage, she presented her speech then Marzia Abedi presented her speech. Then kids presented their skits in front of everyone. Then we all had lunch and the commissioner left and then we went to the park. It was a lot of fun. - Hasan P. |

How I feel about ZAMs Hope it is a fun place. After the homework, I usually think it's fun. When I finish the homework, I like it. We get presents in holidays. I like it here because most people are Muslims and they also help me with my homework. - Liyaqyat L. |

On June 8th we went to grants park for picnic by school bus from united airlines, then afterwards we went to take my stickers with our partner and then we went to take breakfast from my mom then we got on the bus i got bagels, banana and chocolates, we went to a school which was very old, so thats why there are not to many kids in the school, we went so we could paint the class, hallways and work together, then we has to take the pictures our big group we went back and had a picnic. - Mazina |

Hi my name is Sadia J. I'm a volunteer at ZAMs Hope. I come here to do my service hours i like coming here i like the services that ZAMs Hope provides like grocery distribution, help the senior citizens with English and after school programs for kids and many more service but some times i feel sorry when there are so many people that come to get food and we run out of food and they some times have to come another day to get food and they have no food at home to eat but Zehra Aunty tries her best to not let that happen but ZAMs Hope needs more donors so we could buy more food and provide every one with food i feel thankful for the people that volunteer at ZAMs Hope to help the seniors with English because they believe in community work I have seen so many seniors that come to ZAMs Hope for help because there kids dont want to keep them. - Sadia J. |
